Rohm and Haas Texas has a target of zero Occupational Injuries and Illnesses. We have made steady progress to reduce the number of OIIs that occur in our facility. The OII Rate represents the number of employees who become injured or sick as a result of work. All employees from all locations are included in this number. During 2003, 14 employees became ill or injured as a result of working at Rohm and Haas Texas — an increase from previous years. In 2004, we recommit ourselves to working safely and to achieve our target of zero illnesses or injuries resulting from work.
