The employees of Rohm and Haas Texas work hard to ensure that our facilities operate safely without impacting the community that surrounds our site. Should an accident occur, however, the site is well equipped to handle spills and emergencies through our HEAT Team. The site is supported by Channel Industries Mutual (CIMA) a non-profit organization combining the fire-fighting, rescue, hazardous material handling and emergency medical capabilities of the refining and petrochemical industry in the Houston Ship Channel area. Since 1955, this organization has been providing cooperative assistance and expertise for all kinds of emergencies - both natural and man-made.
