My picture describes the possibilities of chemistry in many different ways. It not only displays what has been created by chemistry and shows creativity, such as the art supplies and the garments, it also leaves us with a felling of inspiration to create more with chemistry.

On the road of chemistry, it's not really about the destination of accomplishment that you get to, but more about the scientific discoveries you make along the way. This picture represents how it's never too late for chemistry, whether late into the night or in our last hour. Chemistry evolves around us, magnified in our past, present, and future, which mingles with the possibilities we can create; it's your choice to have it or not.

The possibilities in alchemy are endless. Imagine turning metal into gold, concocting the Elixir of Life, and even creating the Philosopher's Stone. Through time, alchemy has shaped modern chemistry in many ways. Numerous concepts and tools used in alchemy are still helpful to contemporary chemists. Altering objects by chemical changes is an idea that is toyed with even now. Alchemists tried to find spiritual cures for sicknesses, not unlike scientists' search for vaccines today. Alchemy is a fascinating form of chemistry; without it, Rohm and Haas wouldn't be here today.

A young kindergarten boy is expressing his creativity by painting a beautiful picture. Thankfully, that is possible because of the chemistry involved in mixing paints to create new and unique colors. This allows the little boy to use his imagination as well as originality in his artwork, something we should hope to keep doing, even as we grow older, by using this same chemistry.

Chemistry is the science that mixes elements and ideas in glass beakers and grows possibilities. With chemistry, we have been able to increase crop yields, advance transportation technology, design superior construction materials, create new medical and pharmaceutical products, perfect water purification, improve food processing and discover more efficient electronic devices. The possibilities of chemistry are as endless as the human imagination and we can only imagine what the future holds.

Chemistry makes the fuel, the fuel keeps technology going, the technology train runs on fuel and takes the world into a new era with endless inventions and wide connections. The study of chemistry leads to the development of medicine, which improves and saves lives. With the help of chemistry the world is climbing on an endless ladder of technologies, inventions and possibilities. Now is the time for us, the younger generation, to discover those possibilities that reach to the sky.

The science teacher has an idea that will help him discover his long awaited result that he has been working on for months. He is sharing his results with his students. Using calculus and algebra for his chemistry experiment helped. At last finished, he has discovered his answer. I believe that learning chemistry in our schools is going to help us imagine new possibilities for our own future.
